Delete your account in the app

The fastest way is right inside the Athlos app — no request needed:

1. Open the app and go to your Profile (tap your avatar, or the Profile tab).
2. Scroll to the Danger Zone at the bottom and tap Delete account.
3. Confirm in the dialog. Your account is deleted immediately and you’re signed out.

Prefer email, or can’t access the app?

Send an email from the address registered to your Athlos account to:

Subject line: Data Deletion Request. In the body, confirm the email address you signed up with so we can locate your account.

What gets deleted

• Your name, email address, profile photo, and phone number
• Your sign-in credentials and OAuth provider linkage (Apple, Google, or Facebook)
• Your booking history, membership records, and team affiliations
• Your waiver signature record (captured in-app and stored in our member system)
• Any device session tokens we hold

What we have to retain

Some records must be kept by law even after account deletion:

• Financial transaction records (Stripe charge IDs, refund records) — retained for 7 years for tax and audit compliance. These records do not include personal identifiers like your name or email after deletion; they are pseudonymized.
• Signed waivers — for liability protection, signed waiver copies are retained for as long as is required under Ohio statute of limitations for personal injury claims.

Timeline

We complete deletion within 30 days of receiving your request. We will email you a confirmation when the deletion is complete.

Disconnecting Facebook, Google, or Apple sign-in

If you signed in with Facebook, Google, or Apple, you can also revoke our access from within those provider's account settings. This stops future sign-ins but does not by itself delete your Athlos account or data — for that, you still need to email us using the steps above.
